Boswell, James, 1740-1795

"1780-1784"

His instructions were such as the [state] _character_ of his [own time]
_readers_ made [necessary] _proper_.

Framed rather for those that [wish] _are learning_ to write.
Domestick [manners] _scenes_.'

_Various Readings in the Life of_ PARNELL.

his wife, whom he is said to have lamented with such sorrow, as hastened
his end[190].
